  • UTC Transit Center: The UTC Transit Center is now temporarily relocated to accommodate construction of a new and improved transit center.  For now, all MTS and NCTD routes serving the transit center are picking up and dropping off passengers at temporary stops along Genesee Avenue or La Jolla Village Drive.  View a map of the relocated stops here.  When the UTC Transit Center reopens in mid-2016, it will have state of the art electronic signs, improved passenger waiting areas, and a dedicated bus entrance, that will shorten trip times.
  • Sorrento Valley Double Track: SANDAG and NCTD are working together to add a second mainline rail track for approximately 1.1 miles to the north of Sorrento Valley Station to improve COASTER and Amtrak reliability. A new 81-space surface parking lot was added to the south of the station. There are now a total of 189 parking spaces to serve transit riders.
    • Construction activity may include impacts to train on-time arrivals, parking access, and station access.
    • Construction is ongoing through 2015.
