Build your workout into your commute when you walk or bike to work. With mild temperatures and sunshine throughout the year, San Diego is one of the best places in the country for walking and biking. Walking for 20 minutes at a normal pace of 3 mph burns about 80 calories. Biking for 20 minutes at a normal, no sweat pace of 10 mph burns almost 100 calories.

  • DECOBIKE: No bike? No problem! The DECOBIKE bikeshare system provides 1,700 shared bikes to members for an hourly fee at more than 180 stations around San Diego. Annual and short term memberships are available.
